Opportunity

Benjamin West, an equipment, supplies, and furniture procurement firm serving some of the world's largest hotel chains, faced challenges with its legacy purchase management platform, RPM 1.0. The system’s outdated interface and manual processes for bid management and purchase order tracking led to inefficiencies, making it difficult to onboard new employees and manage growing demands.

They partnered with FullStack Labs to build a more efficient platform that could boost efficiency and improve their client experience.

Solution

FullStack Labs took a deep dive into Benjamin West's processes through on-site engagements and extensive consultations. Our team collaborated closely with Benjamin West’s leadership and project managers. We refined the information architecture, optimized user flows, and developed a high-fidelity prototype that evolved into a full-featured, frequently updated MVP.

With the prototype completed, FullStack Labs developed RPM 2.0, a modern web application that automates procurement processes and supports real-time collaboration. Utilizing technologies such as Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, and Redis, the new platform consolidated multiple tools into one seamless experience for internal teams, vendors, and clients.

The solution also integrated multi-currency support, advanced reporting features, and a streamlined bid management system.
